This type of item is really a game changer. I used to have to roll my compressor around to get to the workbench and driveway, etc. Now, just flip the switch and pull out the needed hose. They also are able to click to a stop every 6-8 feet so you're not fighting any pullback pressure.
If you're on the fence and have a compressor, these are a great addition to your garage.

Of course that was back when I could use a coupon and paid far less than $90 for it, still I'd say the rubber hose is good quality and the mechanism has never given me an issue.

Do yourself a favor and hold out for a better quality unit. It's junk, the retracting mechanism is weak and flimsy. The last 10 or so feet of the hose I always have to tinker with to get it to retract.
The hose itself has been fine at least.
I extend it fully probably 3 or so times a week for various tasks. The retracting mechanism was poor on day 1 though.
