What... if you're thinking about health, you shouldn't even be thinking instant noodles. You know these instant noodles are flash fried?
Best flavor
Add some real baked chicken chunks (or pan-fried plain strips) and some Mexican corn... it's not a bad meal, actually for a quick fix.

this is the normal everyday price at Wal-Mart for months now.

It doesn't matter which flavor that you get. You are getting them for the noodles. You are just going to throw the packet in the trash anyway, At least, if you have one ounce of health consideration, you are.

My kid puts potato chips in the juice to soften them a bit. I guess to give it a crunch with the noodles. He NEVER drinks the juice so I had a sore throat one day and took a good swig thinking the salt would help. Not only was it salty because of the ramen, but the salt of the chips was in the broth and it was the saltiest thing I've ever had in my life. Blood pressure shot through the roof I'm sure but my throat felt better. Never again. Crazy kids. Proud of him for de-salting a little though.

I also remember when these were $4 each. Frown $0.10/ package way back when haha.

Put them in Nongshim bowls so you can instantly quadruple their value.

I got a big pack of these a while ago. The noodles taste the worst of any brand I've tried. They taste, like, styrofoamy?

If you save two of the plastic bowls off the more expensive ramen, then you can use them as cookers for these too. I boil water in an electric kettle, pour into one tray and cover with another, and then it's ready in 3-4 min.

Contrary to some of the people above, I like this flavor a lot. I use some of the packet for salt, add some cayenne pepper or thin sliced jalapeno for heat, a couple drops of soy and sesame oil for some umami, and you've got great noodles. A little leftover grilled chicken or pork tenderloin with a soft boiled egg, and now it's getting faux fancy.

Obviously a person probably shouldn't eat pasta super often, but if you can't have pasta a couple times per month, you should probably consider getting more exercise. Salt is strongly associated with higher blood pressure, but a salt reduction diet only lowers systolic blood pressure by 4-8 mm Hg, so if you have a normal range of blood pressure, salt is not as big a deal as it would be for hypertensives. Also, people seem oblivious that you don't have to drink all of the broth if you don't want to. I like to use less water to make a salty brine. You dip the noodles and most runs back off into the bowl. I would estimate that only about 25% of the salt would be consumed this way.
