Owning a tesla was easy when everyone was making over 150k a year in an economy fueled by low interest rates.
With all of these layoffs going around in big techs, pretty sure the demand is softening for a 50k electric cars

But I agree. It's difficult to sell a 50k car to the masses with 7% apr and weak economic conditions.
That said I have been proven wrong earlier, people go over their limits and wait for cars to be possessed and hope govt prints more money.

It just takes a quick google search to confirm the average new car price has skyrocketed to 47k in the US, this isn't as egregious as a lot here try to make it seem. Anything other than an econobox is gonna be real money these days, if you don't care about performance you can save money, if you want something fun to drive with more than 320hp you're gonna be paying these days, same If you prefer more creature comforts over performance

I mean, 50k seems like the average price for a new car now, have you been to a Jeep lot recently? I couldn't find anything less than 55k and most were 60k+, seems like most car makers are focusing on expensive vehicles and are only interested in raising prices.

Why cash only? I can get a loan check overnighted in time for april 18
They don't do price adjustments
However, I agree that a free charging outlet installation is great value. The cost of installation for an EV at home charger can be chunky, and you may have to upgrade your home's panel or run a long wire to your charging point. In sum it can easily run $2,000 to $4,000.
yup..I just tried and been told that they don't retroactively adjust prices for deliveries prior to the price change
