You'll be lucky to get 250 range, and more realistically in the low 200s with a vehicle advertised for 300-350 range.
I'll by an EV when the range is advertised at 500
I take 300 miles trips regularly and there is no real cost benefit using a Tesla vs something like a Camry
I make all my savings driving around town with home charging and free charge from work

Great car, but it is niche and you're tied to Tesla and all their expensive costs.
I have not met 1 competent employee since the advisor I bought it with.
I never use autopilot. I dont trust it in any context, so that's a non-issue for me. I would never use it in any car until I really see improvments. Maybe I'm an old fogey, but that's just how I feel about the current state of autopiliot.
The locked-to-Tesla dealerships repairs terrify me, however, and I do my best to make sure nothing happens to the car.
My insurance cost is $1600 a year, no big deal.
I'm not sure I would buy another just because of the "must repair at a tesla dealer" thing. Else, it's a fantastic car. The convienence of not getting gas is amazing as most of my driving is in realtively close areas in the tri-state area, 100-150 mile round trips. I've driven it as far as Chicago, IL, and that was kind of a pain in the ass to stop at a supercharger and wait for 40 min to charge, and then stop again.

If you compare the dollar per mile spent on the gas of the Prius and electricity of the Tesla, you actually save more money driving the Prius
How's it the same car? Smaller battery one motor slower
They are looking to sell 40m+ of these so its a mass produced car which they said will be 40% CHEAPER to own than a Corolla.
Understand why they sold well recently: Record gas prices, Record car shortage. Record stimulus / Free money combined with the lowest interest rates of all time. All of which are now permanently over.
Without these Tesla would already declaring bankruptcy or bought out by Apple.
Because they raised the price a bunch of times and now decreased it.... Duh!!! Lol the model y is back to the same price as in January

all ev owners especially tesla ones seem to never be real about the experience or they downplay the negatives
EV is definitely the future, but that future isnt quite yet.
The battery capacity has to be enough to advertise a 500 mile range going 75mph so when taking account to everything you said, those not conservative about range and uses all those features and fall under all the scenarios you described then in a worse case scenario the range would fall to 300-350.
But now we have advertised range at 300-350 IF you drive 50-60MPH and add those factors you mentioned and we are down to 200 mile range!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that is weak
Then of course the EV owners with excuses for that will come out with a reach saying well you shouldnt need to drive that far, its made for only city driving etc. like WHAT?! then its not versatile and thats a fail and more evidence its not ready for full replacement to ICE
Same with gas cars. If you have a 30 MPG car and you stomp on the gas the whole time you're going to be left with 15 MPG
