99.9% sure the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro w/ 6800h and 150w 3070 Ti dumps all over this. $100 cheaper, newer generation Ryzen, and DDR4 vs DDR5. This has a bigger SSD and faster refresh rate, but the 150w 3070 Ti outpaces the 3080 in benchmarks, and rubs noses with the 3080 Ti. The Lenovo also has a 16:10 aspect ratio. I guess it all comes down to whether you want to pay more for a better refresh rate, less performance, 512GB extra storage, and (imo) an ugly in-your-face gamer aesthetic. I'd recommend the Lenovo 10/10 times.
Shoutout to the people giving this a thumbs down without saying why. You da real MVPs.

Well I dunno, if I got a few lemons since both of my Legon units have been sent to Lenovo for RMA. They do cover shipping and all but it's just a bad experience on it. On one the GPU failed. The other had a fan go out causing overheating within 2 months of ownership. I am considering going with Asus as I have had their laptop before and it lasted over 6 years.

On the flip side, I've never had a single issue with a Lenovo product in my life, nor have any of my friends. Lemons happen with any brand though, so I'm sorry you've had that experience.
I have this exact laptop. Got lucky a few months ago and picked up locally new in box for $1,000. The seller pulled it from one of those Amazon return crates. The box was beat up but the laptop itself was untouched and new. No issues so far and has played everything I've thrown at it @ max settings.
