Rewards earned are issued around the 10-15th of the following month and are valid to the end of the next calendar month. So a recycled item in April would be paid out in mid may and valid to June 30th.

May's item credit will be available in June, so you can redeem two $10 rewards certs at once for $20 in goods from 6/15 to 6/30. Rewards certs on good on most items in store except gift cards, postage stamps and prepaid phone cards. You must redeem the full amount of the certs. at once, no credit it given back. You do not earn any new rewards on the redemption value of the certificates.

Tech rewards are valid to use IN STORE ONLY, you can not redeem them online or for online pick up orders.

You will also get a same day only $10 off $30 in store coupon on your electronic recycle receipt. May want to take advantage of that on using your rewards in store.

So if I am reading this correctly, I can bring in ONE item (including a single old rechargeable aa battery that never seems to hold a charge any more) and get $10 in rewards and I don't have to have purchased anything (like ink recycling requires)? Usually it's $5 and starting the 16th, it's $10?

First stop for me is anything clearance. Most of my area stores have a clearance section and some stuff here and there throughout the store too. If you get a nice (or uninformed) cashier they may even PM first and then accept your coupon too. They don't have to though. I like to say something along the lines of "Hey, the coupons combine with sale items so...".

I browse the clearance. Of course ymmv. I once bought two big packs of Swiffer dusters for $10. Good deal.

Lately I have been buying Clorox antiseptic wipes for $5.29 each. Ymmv. I have enough wipes for a year now. I turned these purchases into a money maker. PM me for details. To date I bought eight packs and made $24.

I thought today would be the last day to use the $10 for when I recycled a printer in May, but my account only showed $10 that expires in July for another item I recycled in June. The Staples employee "processed" the transaction again and said to check my account in a week. We'll see.

For an item recycled in May, the reward is issued in mid-June and expires at the end of July.

70 count kcups (donut shop or green mountain). There is coupon in the staples connect app making them $24.99. Used two of the $10 coupons and one $5 and paid nothing. Thought that was pretty decent. The coupon can be extended till next week if you clip it today.

bought a Charmin toilet paper with price tag 24.99, and a Brightlair air refresher price tagged at 5.29. However, checkout showed the prices are 29.99 and 5.99 respectively. casher manually subtracted 4.99 from the paper, but didn't reduce the other one. it was an very old person who can barely stand. oh well, only 70 cents more i have to pay. out of the door paid 1.05 with 2 10 rewards, and a 10 off 30 coupon.
