Is Team Group as reliable as WD and others? The TG 500g is $34 and the WD SN570 500g is $33. The TG specs seem better. This is for a boot drive in an older Win 10 computer.

If you are okay with a smaller capacity than 4TB, I strongly recommend SN570. Its best part is running relatively cool, not super hot. I remember there is a thermal photo review from Techpowerup.

Read that SSD prices should trough around June, I'd wait until then to make a decision.

WD for its better brand and warranty, but MP34 TBW is 800 vs merely 300 for SN570, an indication poor NAND used. A tie here. If you are upgrading to 1TB, than MP34 at only $48 is a sure fire way.

The variance in prices at that storage level is minimal. You could get a samsung or better wd for slightly more.
