Not sure why the downvote, but thanks I've been ready to pull the trigger on these at $175. This price at least saves me $100 on the 4 I need. Thanks

Do these need an amp? if so do you recommend any? I am trying to find something for my bedroom.

Yes, you'll need an amp. You'll also need a saw to cut the holes in your ceiling and a way to fish the wire from where the amp will sit to each speaker. If you have an attic/crawl space above the room you want to use these in, that makes it easier. If you don't, you'll have a harder time running speaker cable. Especially if the beams run across the ceiling between amp/speakers vs along the ceiling.

Thank you. I figured the in wall installation. Just didn't know if amp was a requirement. Appreciate your comment

I don't know, I just received my 4 yesterday. None are open box all are new. The boxes have a white sticker over the serial number and another white sticker with model information and the word new on it. The Amazon listing said there were only 2 new ones left, but I got 4 new ones. Maybe they list as open box so Klipsch doesn't send them a cease and desist?? I will report back if I find anything wrong with my 4.
