The Sodastream machines are a bit of an eyesore compared to the Aarke. I've had one for years, it blends in with the kitchen a lot more because the body of the machine is much smaller.
The bottles are not interchangeable with other brands; you have to use the Aarke ones. (Trust me, I tried and got water everywhere.) There's an expiration date on the bottle, but there's nothing stopping you from using an "expired" bottle. The Aarke is compatible with the standard blue topped Sodastream cylinders. Mine didn't even come with a cylinder and that's all I've used in it.
Having used both brands, I prefer the Aarke. The manual operation gives you complete control over how much or little carbonation you want, and it just looks much better sitting on the counter.
Same question: is the $25 off still working. It worked when I added this and 1 other item. But when I went to check out (in about 5/10 minutes), the $25 off had disappeared

Why get this vs sodastream?? How is the ease of replacement cylinders? It looks like it can use Sodastream cylinders?
