Was doing some calculation, Kirkland at size 4 (198) is $44.99, this is on sale for $41.99 (174) ..... I still went back to grab the kirkland....

I tried both Kirkland and huggies from costco. The Kirkland I noticed a chemical smell coming from the diapers. The huggies no smell but the fibers from the diaper always came off/got stringy.

Mine were in size 3 and 4 much longer than 1 and 2s. But you should be able to get a couple boxes of 1and 2s and not have extra left over.

Depends on the baby unfortunately. I have a baby boy turning 6 months old on the 17th and 2s are starting to get snug. But, he's 19th percentile for weight. My 2 year old was in the 80th percentile and was probably in a 4 by 6 months and still is in a 4. Sizes go quick in the beginning. Then plateau around size 4 for most average sized kids. I'd prob get a box of 1, 2, and 3. Then two of size 4.

You'll be in size 1 for a few months but it all depends on the baby and their current height weight and growth trajectory. I forget what I did with mine, but I just know they stay on size 3 for a really long time.

forgot to add, you can always return unopened boxes if you buy too many

My son is 3.5 months old, 14-15 lbs. he grew out of 1s around 2.5 months old. He's approaching size 3 pretty soon.

Though my girl was in the 98th percentile for all of her visits except the last one, where she was 95th...

Depends on if they were fully developed in womb, preemie can stay in newborn longer, my first daughter wasn't long in them at all, second was twice as long. then my first rocketed through a size and sat at another. pretty hard to say.

here are some averages i pulled off random website though:
1 month size N,
1.5 month size 1,
3 month size 2,
7 months size 3
8 months size 4
6 month size 5.

We were using pampers pure originally and then got some Kirkland to try out. The Kirkland tabs would either rip off really easy or they would come unstuck really easy which would cause leaks. Ended up just going to back to pampers swaddlers from Amazon for only a little bit more, wasn't worth the cost savings on the Kirkland. Looking at the reviews it appears Kirkland used to be a lot better until 2020 and then they changed them and lots of people had issues with them after that.

I think these are really rough estimates. Just like adults we come in all shapes and sizes, don't forget about differences in genetics and diets. We are at 13 months and size 3

I just wanted to say Huggies have worked out great for us compared to pampers and kirkland branded. Much less leaks and blowouts

FWIW, rough comparison of the price of the Huggies size 4 vs Kirkland size 4, the Huggies are roughly $2.50 more expensive with this coupon compared to the Kirkland size 4 not on coupon. We buy Kirkland and they work well. Just note that sometimes the diaper gel on Kirkland brand will rub off on the skin if it gets too full, but it wipes off during changes. Anyone know if these Huggies have the same gel/bead problem as the Kirkland? If not, I'll switch to Huggies since $2.50 is worth not having to deal with removing the gel issue from the skin.

The reply does say average, plus based on the numbers it suggests size 3 at 12.5 months - basically what you're saying for your own child.
