I have found keter deck products to be a good deal sturdier then other brands.

I have the larger deck box and it's plenty sturdy to double as a bench.

I have found keter deck products to be a good deal sturdier then other brands.

I have the larger deck box and it's plenty sturdy to double as a bench.

Yeah I got the bigger one 2 summers ago at sams. Holds up well.

I checked this out in-store yesterday. Quality seemed rather questionable. I felt the plastic was thin. Just my opinon.

After about 12 months, the latch broke where it was fastened to the lid. Six months later, the molded piece where the screws hold the hydraulic arms to the chest from the lid came free when I opened it. So the lid only sits on top now, with a block on top to keep it from blowing off.

Plastic seemed really brittle for only 18 months exposure.

You may be talking about a different product than listed here. This one has no screws or hydraulic arms. It's just 6 pcs of plastic plates that interlock with each other to create a box.

I bought it about 2 weeks ago for the same price. When I opened the packaging, I thought the plastic plates are flimsy but once I assembled it, it's not that bad actually. I have it on my apartment balcony to use as a table or to sit on it.

I have the 230 gallon version of this from Sams and am happy with it after 2 years. In fact I may buy another.. too bad they just discounted the tiny one!
