Basically it's powder coated and seems fine in all but the exposed edge bits or interior that might not have been coated. There's a rubber bit at the top and the plastic corners have remained securely in place so far. So, really I only see a spot of rust at some welded on hook thing that I can't figure it's purpose.
Anyway, it'll come down to luck in how well the one you get was coated and that's a crap shoot at the price I'm betting.
Max capacity... It's held up to 250 well. My son and I have been in it at the same time. You'll probably sag to the ground before it gives up to being overloaded.
I wish it had some spots on the base for weights. Dang thing doesn't like to swing much and unless you had really good screw anchors and ratchet straps to lock it down... You're probably going down.
