Kinda, I've had one for one year. It's holding up much better than by "professional" hose reel or grill.
Basically it's powder coated and seems fine in all but the exposed edge bits or interior that might not have been coated. There's a rubber bit at the top and the plastic corners have remained securely in place so far. So, really I only see a spot of rust at some welded on hook thing that I can't figure it's purpose.

Anyway, it'll come down to luck in how well the one you get was coated and that's a crap shoot at the price I'm betting.

Max capacity... It's held up to 250 well. My son and I have been in it at the same time. You'll probably sag to the ground before it gives up to being overloaded.

I wish it had some spots on the base for weights. Dang thing doesn't like to swing much and unless you had really good screw anchors and ratchet straps to lock it down... You're probably going down.

Aluminum doesn't rust, but it corrodes.

If you're exposing it near the coast, make sure it's anodized.

I keep a spray bottle of clear rust oleum and coat everything metal that stays outside once a year. Never ever have trust

I like the idea of a collapsible hammock stand for taking to the beach or car camping but the reviews that talk about the plastic clips that hold it together are troubling.

Portability and ease of setup. I have several hammocks and stands like the one you posted and they're a pain in the butt to move around. They're very sturdy and great for using in your deck or yard but not something you'd take to the park or the beach for a day trip.

I mean, I was mostly joking, but that is what happens when you buy something based on the 1st pic, which is always meant to show a product's intended use, and not necessarily a perfect representation of what is in the box. Read the description. Never mentions a hammock, and the details clearly state it does not include a hammock.

Anyone looking for a hammock to go along with this, I've been using these [amazon.com] for a few years and are holding up well. Hard to relax in a hammock with bugs all over. Netting is excellent. Good price right now, $16.
