Price-checked these at Lowes.com and found the three slip-joint/groovelock plier set (IRWIN Visegrip Quick Adjusting GrooveLock 2-Pack Tongue & Groove Plier Set & VISE-GRIP Quick Adjusting GrooveLock 6-in V-Jaw Pliers) is $36.96. That means they are $3 dollars more for each pair when buying the set of three separately. Otherwise that's $9.38 per tool with this deal...probably only worth it if you needed the majority of the tools...great starter set.

Kinda funky with the pictures, but best I can tell thats the 6" and two 10", or maybe 6, 8 and 10. Where the Amazon set has 8, 10, and 12

Seems they may have cheaped out on the quality from older ones based on the reviews.

I have the 10" GrooveLock pliers and the action and locking mechanism is very unreliable.
Hit or miss I guess but I end up pinching my hand more then loosening something
