My WeMax is 2+ years old and going strong. These things should last long enough that you'd probably want an upgrade anyway. Not sure why anyone brings this up. Who is out there repairing their 4K TVs? Why are projectors different?

My WEMAX Nova is still going strong 1 year in. I have OLED too but this is for "theater" nights with the kids where size outweighs contrast.

It's just that TVs last 5-10 years generally, or even more so long as a kid doesn't break them. Even if it has near zero worth at the end of its life, at least you can give it away or continue to use it.

1 year is not very long but hopefully it lasts for you. I expect these types of products to last 10 years and simply be replaced because I want something new not that it stopped working.
does it I thought the PX1-PRO had it but not the regular PX1?
Unless the website ad/specs are listed wrong it does. Just looking at the regular PX1, if you scroll down that page, it shows dolby vision, dolby atmos, etc. all listed in the features marketing picture

And why do people assume these things won't last just as long as a TV? Laser based projectors are likely to last a long time. People just equate projectors with bulbs that go bad I guess, but this won't have that problem. This thing aught to last as long as any other electronics purchase. Most likely problems would be power supply issues like I've had with countless TVs over the years.

I highly doubt this model have dolby vision. Main difference that Hisense boast about px1 pro model is 'Dolby vision' and higher brightness. Also minor exterior difference (color and metal ring?) if px1 have Dolby vision, people wont buy px1 pro just for slightly higher brightness
