Now a year later in the hot CA sun the wood seems to be splitting on the posts. I have long term concerns over this but unrealistic to disassemble and return. Beware
Marketplace/CL are good places to find people that assemble these. It's surprising to most people that there are businesses that ONLY serve to assemble these DIY things like gazebos, play sets, etc. Long story short, I have a high school kid that does lawn stuff for me (grunt work like clearing land, spreading mulch, etc) and after he noticed me putting up one of these (and a playset later in the summer), he got into installing them on the side. Perfect job for industrious and responsible youngsters.

Agreed. A full day for 2 people. A 3rd or 4th person when installing the roof will be handy.
Marketplace/CL are good places to find people that assemble these. It's surprising to most people that there are businesses that ONLY serve to assemble these DIY things like gazebos, play sets, etc. Long story short, I have a high school kid that does lawn stuff for me (grunt work like clearing land, spreading mulch, etc) and after he noticed me putting up one of these (and a playset later in the summer), he got into installing them on the side. Thus each post legit has open unused holes, from the factory.
Obvi water ingress etc could be an issue, leaving the home owner to glue in a dowel and seal etc.
