These are absolute trash, got one for a buck a while ago and it works as a last resort glove compartment kit but I would never use it otherwise. Quality is absolute garbage.

Was it "these" exact clippers or something very similar (in concept) but completely and totally different so they should not be judged in the same sentence?

If you check Temu or Alibaba, there are a couple dozen listings showing the exact same product. They're all priced around $3-5

Never said that many of these items could be rebranded under different names however not every similar (aka not the same) is identical or from the same original factory.

For example, many types of off brand cereal "O's" are just rebranded Cheerios and still made by General Mills...but being a breakfast cereal shaped like a circle does not automatically mean it was made by General Mills. Huge difference and a reasonable person would not judge the quality of factory A's product based on an experience with factory's B item.

I actually have the exact same set from a few years ago and I thought it was a perfectly fine set. They are functional and all in a very handy case. It's super convenient and small... it actually has WAY more than you'd typically need as well.

I'm not sure why that post was marked as helpful, it's misleading and subjective.
