i used to get in on these battery deals especially if i was going to purchase something as i would be getting the batteries for free and making my money work for me so to speak.

these duracell batteries do leak after a while, both in storage and in devices.

so now i dont get batteries unless i need them right now. no more stock piling. laugh out loud

The today only portion is lower price for in-store pickup. So you have less money tied up in rewards, and less tax.

Have to pay me to take duracell batteries. They leak and ruin electronics, not worth it.

The 100% back in OD rewards is for the 24 pack which is $35 and there is no discount for instore pickup, The discount is just on the 16 pk which is quoted at $19.99 - $7 ofr instore pick , BUT NO OD REWARDS !!!!

Better take screenshots of each step.

This week's fine print says Duracell optimum 12 & 18 pack.
But this thread links to 16 pack leaky duracells (even though shows 100% back rewards)

Funny thing on OD product page shows a whopping "3" units have been sold in past 24 hours.

In past years OD customer service has been pretty good about this... But last couple times there was a discrepancy, it took a bunch of back and forth to get it resolved

That has not been my experience the last two times I did this (last Sunday of March, First Sunday of April). I did get the 100% back in rewards on both orders. Yes , it is worded in a way you might think that there is a catch, but it is just sloppy wording on their end.

If you are at all worried, you could always get them to PM in store Walmart, Target and Amazon. I think the 16 packs are generally $16 so if you would rather do it all in the store at your leisure anytime until Saturday and you will get the 100% back in rewards. There should be a sign with a picture of the batteries that qualify. Take a picture if you are thinking the deal needs to be more clear.

This is similar offer they had two weeks ago, but cheaper on 16 pack, you can check previous thread and people got 100% reward with in stock pick up discount.

I bought the 16 pack online and picked up in store 2 weeks ago, got the $12 reward back on the second day automatically.

But it seems OD has no promotion yet for this earth day (04/22). St has offered $10 for recycling tech. junks.

Yup. They used to be great. But. They have ruined a few of my things (a wall clock and a couple remotes and wireless mice come to mind). I now run mostly Eneloops so no leaks but if you were to buy alkaline batteries, which ones would you buy now? I keep a pack on hand for cheap stuff and need some.

They leak then the Duracell send coupons that only work in certain stores did not work in OfficeMax,Walgreens after scan it been voided .

It's weird that in T&C, they only mention AA/AAA 12/18 pk batteries, but when I look up the 24-pk page I see 100% back in rewards banner as well. Will it work for 24-pk too?
