Sign ups are live. In the wallet app, select your Apple Card, go to the top right menu and hit Apple Cash, and change redemption to savings. Enter your social and you're done.

highly doubt banks can generate income to pay these crazy CD rate . half the regional banks will be out of business soon!

FYI. You can't spend money or make purchases in Savings directly through your Apple Card or Apple Pay. If you want to access your funds, you can transfer money from Savings to Apple Cash or to a linked external bank account.

Apple will be squeezing max out of GS !!

that's negligible money. say you spend $300 through apple pay in a day, you get $6 cash back, then earn a quarter in Saving after one year. well still better than nothing.
