Sign ups are live. In the wallet app, select your Apple Card, go to the top right menu and hit Apple Cash, and change redemption to savings. Enter your social and you're done.

You should be eligible. The J1 requirement is to only have one job/employer (one w-2). The interest is reported on the filed tax (form 1099-int) but does not constitute a 'w-2' on its own.

P.S. I am a former J1 holder.

FYI. You can't spend money or make purchases in Savings directly through your Apple Card or Apple Pay. If you want to access your funds, you can transfer money from Savings to Apple Cash or to a linked external bank account.

A large percentage have 2-3% mortgages also. No way the banks can keep this up with another 25 bps rate hike coming soon.
