27.99/ month subscription. I'm gonna have to offset this by doing live cam shows
Ring has made it a habit of releasing buyers' private videos to the cops without a warrant in violation of the 4th Amendment.
I highly suggest not to acquire cameras with subscriptions. They are unreasonable, and consumers are promoting none consu.er friendly products. There are existing technologies without any subscriptions with quality recordings. They are preying against unaware consumers. Please reconsider and Google security cameras. You will find abundant reasonably priced products.

Does it make sense to buy two+ sets if I needed more sensors/cameras?

Thanks for posting. I've been with Frontpoint for over 7 years and just started to have a love/hate relationship with them. Equipment started to fail and being forced to upgrade the hub had me looking at other options. I purchased SimpliSafe for my parents a year or so ago and they love it. A little issue with a defective keypad but they sent another one out ASAP.

Simply safe and all these diy systems don't call out the sensor location name when tripped, only a chime!?!? It's such a basic feature! Can't understand why that wouldn't be incorporated…. It's a must with using many sensors!

Yes I called them and asked for - they said we don't support that.

$28 a month or a year? $330 a year is ridiculous

That's the one thing Frontpoint system has over the other's. The sensor names are called out.

Yes - I bought three sets when I set mine up.

We moved since then and I switched to Surety, but SimpliSafe was good while I had it.

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Ring, the home security company owned by Amazon, has partnered with law enforcement agencies in the United States through its Neighbors app. This app allows users to share videos and information about local crime and safety incidents with neighbors and law enforcement.

In some cases, Ring has provided local police with access to a portal where they can request videos from Ring users in a specific area to help with ongoing investigations. When police request video footage, Ring sends an email to the device owner asking for their consent to share the video. Users have the option to decline or accept the request.

However, it is important to note that policies and practices may have changed since my last knowledge update in 2021. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, you should consult Ring's official website or contact them directly for their current policies regarding sharing videos with law enforcement agencies.

Um, not quite... They're not asking for permission.
