Training with kettlebells allows you to select resistance training exercises based on their similarity to actual movements that occurs during sports. kettlebells require more balance than training with barbells or machines and balance is crucial for optimal performance. kettlebells also require more muscular control than barbells thus enhancing kinesthetic awareness. The best part of training with kettlebells is it allows the athlete to train through a greater range of motion than barbells on some exercises. Understand that it is sometimes more valuable to trade heavy weights (Barbells) for more sport-specific movements. Kettlebell exercises demand the use of multiple joints which engage all the larger muscles of the body. Compound kettlebell moves burn calories faster than isolation moves which only work one muscle. 45 lbs. Kettlebell Set Include: 1 x 10 lbs. 1 x 15 lbs. 1 x 20 lbs. Vinyl coated. Set of 3.

FYI these are vinyl coated concrete, so they will be larger than similar weighted cast iron bells, and not as durable.
There's still a use case there. I'm trying to train my grip, so the larger weight offset is better for me, since it will provide more lever action. But yeah, not so good for all around application.

Sure, they are cheaper than cast-iron, and I bet the handle will be smoother on vinyl than most cast bells.

That's a great point about the smoothness of the handles. My trainer has me using the small cast iron ones for grip, and the handle is uncomfortable when you're using them inverted like that, especially with sweaty hands. I keep feeling that I'm going to drop them on my head lol. Now I'm extra glad I managed to at least grab the small set for $20!
