I price matched at Best Buy (they're selling at $122).
Definitely didn't need another mouse...."but it's on sale!"

I know right? The market is so flooded with gaming mouse options, that they should be trying to give these away for free.

Fwiw, I bought a ROG Keris wireless on sale for $60 a couple weeks ago. There are many other wireless options that you can get for less when they're on sale.

Heads up with this mouse: it has a scroll wheel issue. I had mine for two months before it started happening. The wheel doesn't properly rotate and even though it's not being spun, the mouse will wheel up/down on its own while in use.

Just a heads up, the wired version is much better overall. It's also on sale.

Depends on the mouse in question and features you want, people can have varied and very particular needs.

For me personally this price point is too much for mouse.

Yet I also bought a mouse (mx master) that I swear by despite the price premium, and that purchase seems crazy to my coworkers who question it's worth over a $10 generic.

Of course for my case, I can specifically reference the features I want (rechargeable battery, long life, extra gestures to customize, special scroll wheel, etc).

The only gaming mouse I'd personally consider for more than $50 would be the basilisk v3 pro and that's for the form factor and the special scroll wheel. That one is tricky though, the wired version is easily found under $50 whereas the wireless is well over $100.

how so? everyone is going wireless these days. even pro gamers. wireless tech has evolved tremendously in the past 10 yrs. and im assuming people use this mouse for gaming purposes. the perk of not having to deal with wires is invaluable IMO

I swapped to the wired version from the wireless. If you want slightly lighter and 8K hz polling rate, the wired version is the way to go. So far, I haven't had the mouse wheel scrolling issue the wireless version has.

You mean the marketing.

I had several expensive laser logitech mice when they were all the hype. Then the acceleration problems started happening, I must've RMA'd 3 or 4.. Now everybody's back to good ol' optical with a pad.
