Do you actually get $7500 back or is the $7500 taken off your earned income as a deduction?
7500 taken off earned income. So not $7500 in all scenarios.

To simply things, Look at Line 16 on your 2022 1040 Tax Form. If it is greater than $7,500 (And your income stays the same or increase), you will get full $7,500. If it is less than $7,500, then you get that lesser amount as a tax credit.

Is there anywhere else I can find supercharger prices? Plugshare shows "pricing: unknown" for all stations in my area. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong?

My order of MYLR is scheduled for delivery tomorrow and this new price is 3k less from the date I placed order(ordered on 1/24), any idea Tesla could match the new price when I take it tomorrow.
Ask them, if you can wait cancel and reorder. Again depends on your need cs saving 3k

If you drive a ton, can charge at home and qualify for the credits and rebates, this is something to consider if you are in the market for a new car! If you will depend on the Tesla supercharger network or DC fast charging stations I don't recommend going BEV at this time.

Agreed.

But this particular ponzi scheme is more of a handout to those who earn significant salaries as opposed to an egalitarian move for the general population. It's another hand out by the Washington clown car bozos.

Lot of competition coming out this year in the EV space.

I just got in on a lease for the 3 yesterday evening and nabbed it at 42K with a $360/mo lease
Today they lowered the price by $2500, but the lease went UP by $50 / Month

The Y however is now $30/month cheaper
what a weird turn of events.
Down payment?

300k income limit is ridiculous. Who can afford this car if earning less?
Lol.

200k affords a very nice lifestyle in a majority of the country. 300k, and a person could afford two of these.

Tesla's OS is actually quite nice. You have all the essentials like Spotify/Apple Music, and can also stream Netflix and other streaming platform of your choice. Its extremely fluid too since it has a Ryzen chip inside. The maps/navi is pulling data from google maps but also their own data using driving patterns of the entire fleet of Teslas on the road. I was initially concerned about the lack of carplay but it subsided quickly after using the touch interface and features on it. imo not having carplay/android auto is a non-issue.

2023 - Tax credit only if you owe taxes. 2024- Directly applied to sale price at dealer.
