Yeahhhh, I had it in cart ready to buy, then I read that description.
Not willing to take a 10% chance that I'm just *out* $130 if I get it and whoever returned it put a brick in there or something.
Maybe it's a mistranslation? Seems absurd they'd just say "Nah, we haven't looked in there, but if it's totally broken, it's on you man."
This is a special segment of products called "urepaired". You're basically playing a game of roulette. Sometimes you get something that was never taken out of the box and sometimes it's something that was previously used as a cinder block during a tire change.
Ebay is full of such items and at least there you have some leverage. I'd stay away from this deal.
It's going to be a gamble with this company. Bought the TT-25 open box a few months back. Control board mount piece was broken but not a big deal, but power adapter was missing. Tried to contact support multiple times no response back. At least it worked with my spare 12V power adapter. So YMMV on what you'll get.
I ordered the 5.5 version last week it came in on tuesday. I had no issues assembling the engraver. I runs great the only issue I have is that I cannot save the WIFI settings.
I bought this the last time the deal came up. They sent me a box of junk, missing parts, broken parts, and every nut and bolt in a zip lock bag. There is a reason they don't accept returns, I tried to get my money back through paypal, but because I tried to fix one of the broken parts they rejected it. Lesson learned on my end. Don't buy this garbage.

Sounds like buying from eBay for little more is better. When 3D printer just come out, I bought a return diy printer(most 3D printer is diy at time). Seller sent me a lot extra part to complete the printer.

Thanks! I read the other comment and there's no returns in case it's defective so probably won't get this one

Deceptively named. Typically a laser engraver is labeled based on it's laser output not power consumption. the laser options are 2.5 & 5.5w which are not strong. I use a 40w Epilog laser and have to do multiple passes on some materials. If you plan on cutting anything you are going to need to get a honeycomb table to put under it. I can't see this being able to do any job quickly without losing accuracy.
