I doubt this needs to be said but this will not work well for almost anything but light-duty applications like car washing. As someone that details cars, I find this to be even underpowered for that, but if you are not worried about excessive dirt and buildup, this will work fine, snow foam just won't be as thick as I like it.

I just tried my Husqvarna 2000psi 1.2gpm for car detailing. It worked and also made foam with my Sooprinse foam cannon. That said, I was disappointed when I tried to clean mud and dirt off rubber mats. I thought it worked fast and then when it dried there was still dirt on the mat. I put my hand in front of the spray and it doesn't hurt at all. This is using 3.0 orifice nozzles I got to lower the psi and increase the GPM flow. I guess I need to try the actual nozzles that came with the washer as they probably are a tiny orifice so they can achieve the stated 2000 psi. Any advice as you are a detailer? Or I just buy a good brush to agitate cleaner on rubber mats and then just rinse with the PW?

I only ever use the grey tip for anything, 45 degrees. Anything more and you could damage paint. Anything involving dry mud you need a serious pressure washer. You're talking 3000 psi 2 gpm. Something like Greenworks - 3000 PSI Pro Electric Pressure Washer (2 GPM)

Ok thanks. This is my first time with the whole PW and foam cannon circus. I'm not sure in the end it was all that much more efficient than my old 2 bucket and garden hose setup but maybe I will get faster. That was my thought too on using 45 tip and 3.0 orifice. YouTubers showed that a 2.5 or 3.0 generally gets you down to 1000ish PSI and also may help your flow, both of which are better for car washing. I guess I will just get a scrub brush as that will be easier to just physically agitate the rubber mats and then rinse rather than spending lots of time trying to cover every inch of the mat with a 15 degree higher pressure tip at close range to do the cleaning work

That'll vary per PW. Also change your orfice in the foam cannon to a 1.1. They come set for gas pressure washers. IMJOSHV on YT reviews tons of electric pressure washers and has links in all his videos to all the adapters, nozzles,&orifices

Yep I have watched IMJOSHV. My understanding is that the orifice in this Sooprinse is already 1.1 at least that is what the comments and listing were suggesting

I think if I also added another swig of soap to up the concentrate that it might foam even more

Not a great idea, injection injuries lead to amputation in about 30% of occurrences, if you end up with one of them.

I've previously washed my hands and shoes (still wearing them) in the middle of using a PW, but then learned about the risk and stopped. Probably the worst aspect is that it just doesn't look that bad from the outside. But the liquid or air that gets forced into the tissue eventually leads to infection and compartment syndrome. It certainly isn't very common, but the potential to be so gnarly and cause permanent injury for such a simple accident adjusted my viewpoint.

I understand and agree. However trust me with this electric pressure washer and the wider orifice it was no different than sticking my hand into the garden hose spray gun. but point taken...risk not worth the reward even if small risk
