Why would anyone buy this inferior product for $165 when you can have a much better one for $143?
And it wasn't even that long ago - the deal is still on the front page: https://slickdeals.net/f/16581848-256wh-ecoflow-river-2-lifepo4-portable-power-station-refurbished-143-65-free-shipping
If the River 2 is AC charging without using the app, it will charge at an extremely high rate, which causes a great deal of stress on the battery. While it has LiFePo4 chemistry, the proported life expectancy is not based on the stardard charging rate. It is based on the slowest charging rate, so there's no way the battery perform as advertised if it is regularly charged without using an app to reduce that rate.
I have the River 2, and find that even if I am drawing 45 watts AC, it gets hot, whereas, my Jackery Explorer 300 gets only barely hot. Big inverters are not always desired!
Having a separate DC charger also reduces Jackery's weight and battery heat. It's built like a rock. The Ecoflow's casing feels and sounds like a hollow shell, whereas the Jackery case feels more solid.
The explorer 240's solar charging input is very slow and its worst quality. The Jackery explorer 300's solar charging is faster but far inferior to the River 2's high solar charging rate.

and bluetti is a shit company that makes products of subpar quality
just head over to the bluetti reddit sub and get ready to be horrified in learning that the amazon reviews have a substantial portion of shill posters

This one is way too bad.
On top of that it is too expensive. A brand new Ecoflow was going for $180ish lately. Given that a top-brand refurb (with good manufacturer warranty) is a comparable deal - the conclusion is that you can have 1) a better product 2) for less money.
Is the "Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 300" a good power station for $250(Walmart)? "293Wh power capacity"
Of course, i rather have the $1000- 4000 ones but that aint happening.
