At no extra cost.
That's a very worthwhile sale.
Please note the OP's product description is wrong; when you go to the Adorama page, it shows 14cGPU This is the 'standard' 14" MBP 2021 but with a 1TB SSD upgrade.

Is there any advantage with the M2 (I've read that the improvements are minimal, and for what I'll use this for, I doubt I will need the extra power anyways)?
If Apple ever updates the OS, would I be able to update or would it be available only the newest models and I would have to pay to update this laptop because it's older hardware?

I haven't used the M2 but i can say that the M1 that i use at work is more than enough power to handle multiple video editing programs + way too many tabs in chrome. I would buy this as it's the lowest i've seen so far and i even if it keeps dropping in price, the power you get for this amount of money is a pretty solid deal if you're looking for quality.
