I tried to tell people they don't have to pay more for the dell only to have terrible blacks that ruin your movie and triple A gaming experience...
but I digress, buy it

-observe the motion chart , you want a sea of green squares if you want to game on a monitor
-and the observe the exceptable contrast and black level (turn the back light down and contrast up and keep your room dark and you won't see ips glow)
hard to find a better ips... especially at an affordable price 👍
USE NVIDIA NIS SHARPENING WITH THIS MONITOR!!

What would the experts here recommend? How about LG one from Costco since it can be clamped to desk?

Both of those are 75Hz panels, this one is 165Hz.
I didn't know IPS could do 165hz. Since I will be using it mainly for work purposes (maybe some light gaming, if any!) email, excel, work etc would it matter? Also like I mentioned USB power delivery is important since I will be taking my laptop with me to work every day and hook it up to the USB-C and use 2 monitors (laptop+display) it's more important for me to have USB-C. Other than refresh rate, is there anything else I should be aware of that this or the other monitor does better, especially the LG one that I am more intereste due to the clamp and overall design.
here's there explanation- https://www.rtings.com/monitor/te...r-accuracy
monitors aren't as tunable as TVs normally at this point, I wouldn't worry about it too much, this monitor needs the blue tuned down I imagine, although some people might like the blue. I personally do a high red white balance (brights), medium blue, low green, and then for offset darks high red, medium green, low blue. My tunings are "inaccurate" and look absolutely amazing😁, most people would walk in and choose my calibrations over 'perfect' colorimeter tuned settings.
You can use your eye look at a white screen 100% brightness and adjust the color space to what you like, I recommend red up, green down a bit, with this monitor the blue should definitely come down. you observe 10 screens 100% -10% and adjust the color space accordingly, usually people want perfect greys. I've never used it personally so , can't give you specifics. with the darks or 'offset' settings, on an ips, drop the blue!
drop the brightness to 45% if you can stand it, contrast up to compensate.
ENABLE NIS! in the nvidia menu turn up sharpness to counter the soft 'smooth' Samsung look of the pixels. if things look blurry jack up the NIS. next to global settings select each game and program including your browser for video watching turn up nis sharpening to your liking. 22% is a good global settings, when screen scaling is enabled (dlss and fsr ect.) go to 72% or so. maybe 81% for youtube 4k videos. NIS is your friend!
pretty much forget about hdr here, the colors won't come together, this is the same for every budget monitor though! Decent hdr monitor (non gaming) poor motion start at $500
anything else ask me
