This is intriguing, especially since i have a $100 VZW gift card that I've never used.

How can we tell which stores are "corporate" and which are franchise? Any flyer or other proof of the deal that I can show them?

When you look on the Verizon website, you can see which ones are "Authorized Retailers" —those are franchises.
