the apple bites are the cheapest offering on the menu. I know it's cheap/frugal of me but I'll stop by wendy's and get the "free x with purchase" (today it was any size drink), $1 apple bites and then go get whatever free item is at chickfila across the street (here in LA there's a free sandwich two or three times a month).

Also to note, new Wendy's accounts have a free 10-piece nugget with purchase.

My go-to item for a Wendy's "free with any purchase" offer at my location of choice is the Junior sized Frosty for 50 cents. I have apples at home, after all. 😉

oh congrats! Reminds me of when my Chipotle in DC did a reopening years ago, they gave everyone in our "luxury" building a coupon for a free burrito - no purchase needed. Well everyone thought they were just spam and threw them in the recycle mail pile next to the mailboxes and I got ~50 free burritos that year. I didn't know Wendy's did those giveaways or openings though.

I just went to a Grand Reopening last weekend and got the free item (Sandwich or Salad) once a week with purchase for a year…thanks for the tip on the apple bites

Hmm, the press release is working for me, but here's an alternate link to the announcement on their blog: https://www.wendys.com/blog/wendy...retrograde

You're right that the new coupon doesn't seem to be live in the app yet. I do see a "Free Any Size Soft Drink w/ Purchase" offer that expires on 4/23 and wasn't there yesterday, so I hope they didn't make a mistake.

This is a good time to stack with your rewards. The coupon has worked for me in the past with a rewarded premium sandwich as the "Buy One" Item. YMMV.
