From April 21 through May 14, Wendy's will have various promotions on its app or website [wendys.com] to celebrate... the planet Mercury appearing to spin backwards?

Friday, April 21 - Sunday, April 23: BOGO $1 Premium Sandwich.
Monday, April 24 - Sunday, April 30: Free Crispy Chicken Sandwich w/ any purchase.
Monday, May 1 - Sunday, May 7: Free 6 Pc. Crispy or Spicy Chicken Nuggets w/ any purchase.
Monday, May 8 - Sunday, May 14: Free Any Size Hot & Crispy Fry w/ any purchase.

Note that the first deal only lasts 3 days. You can mix and match the premium sandwiches, but the $1 will apply to the cheaper sandwich.

For the last 3 deals, you can get a Frosty for $0.99 and get the free item. Or if you want a sandwich, the cheapest sandwich at my local Wendy's is a Jr. Hamburger for $1.39 (reminder that you can customize it on the app and add lettuce and tomato for free).

oh congrats! Reminds me of when my Chipotle in DC did a reopening years ago, they gave everyone in our "luxury" building a coupon for a free burrito - no purchase needed. Well everyone thought they were just spam and threw them in the recycle mail pile next to the mailboxes and I got ~50 free burritos that year. I didn't know Wendy's did those giveaways or openings though.

I just went to a Grand Reopening last weekend and got the free item (Sandwich or Salad) once a week with purchase for a year…thanks for the tip on the apple bites

Hmm, the press release is working for me, but here's an alternate link to the announcement on their blog: https://www.wendys.com/blog/wendy...retrograde

You're right that the new coupon doesn't seem to be live in the app yet. I do see a "Free Any Size Soft Drink w/ Purchase" offer that expires on 4/23 and wasn't there yesterday, so I hope they didn't make a mistake.
