I agree. Loved my old one. Ordered one again and also added a $26 18V string trimmer to make the shipping charge hurt slightly less. Too bad no store pickup was available for either, so now I just have to endure the usually excruciatingly long DTO shipping process.

It even included a battery - a steal at that price

Yup. It does say...

..., though, so I'll have to wait and see what actually is in the box. If it's 4Ah, great. If more, that would be even better. If less, meh..., still not bad at all.
It's a shame these guys only really do Ryobi and Homelite.
Not s big surprise there, since those are brands that TTI (owner of DTO) owns. As far as tools go, they do also own Milwaukee, but I guess they don't see it a good fit for DTO.
Looks like a great must have item. Is this something one can use to remove acorns and other junk/large-seeds that stays in the thick lawn for weeks, especially during fall or even throughout the year. I always have a hard time cleaning yard because of large trees. If not this, what's a good method to use?

I think it would only be strong enough to grab leaves or pine needles. You're looking for a lawn sweeper
I literally saw this deal on my Slickdeals app at 11:50 PM EST and placed my order before 12AM EST. Thanks, OP, you saved me like $150 off of retail for Ryobi Expand-It equipment. Talking about being under the gun.

Thanks. Can you use this to clean up the yard after trimming hedges?
I got it yesterday, came with a 4 ah battery. Works great for dry leaves and small twigs, so it depends on the weight i'd say.
Also its super awkward to lug around as it gets filled because the bag hangs weirdly and there is no strap
