Infinity and zero, respectively.
I could just order the same light on Amazon and return the defective light.
Rechargeable ePower 360 at 2000 lumens vs. plug in Kobalt at 7000 lumens. Both have their place.

What's the difference between these LED lights and the non-name brand ones on Amazon?

If this was a 24v battery unit I'd probably get it, at the moment I have a rechargable work light from Costco that has two side lights that rotate and even detach and have magnetic ends, so you have either one very bright light or three depending on what you need. It was $40 on sale, normally $50 I think.

If you don't get this Kobalt and need a worklight, search on "ePOWER 360 Rechargeable LED Worklight & Spotlight". YouTube vids are out there on it too.

Order it from the Amazon warehouse. 50% of the time, they send trash anyways.

If you do Lowe's, you could just walk inside the store and ask for warranty exchange. You don't need to compromise on morals.

After 90 days good luck with that if they stopped selling that version. If it's not for sale anymore at that store then they will tell you to deal with company CS instead.
Generally I found majority of stuff sold at retail stores have better quality/safety and advertised specs vs on Amazon or online retailer that gets them truckloads from RPC at least some are misrepresented especially their power/lumens/CRI rating and won't even get into safety certification claims.
