Is woot an authorized retailer? Not everyone on Amazon is, and I wouldn't be surprised if woot was trying to offload some products

The impact wrench looked like a good deal, but sold out. Oscillating tool at $95 sold out, but I just got a better deal from home depot by returning a free battery, $80 total. Meh.

Oscillating tool was going for $75 on ebay, looks like it's about $85 now.. sold one locally for $70 last week

How durable do you need it to be? You using it for a hammer? On a serious note, I have the heat gun. It is good, but no where near as good as a plug in. It still has a use and a purpose though. Just don't expect corded heat.

I would buy a cheap corded heat gun first and then buy the dewalt only after I had a corded

Thanks. Needed a 4Ah battery.

Been wanting the heat gun but is $98 even a good deal for that? It's sold out anyway.

I figured $70-80 would be decent. My $10 plug-in Harbor Freight has been great, but cordless would be nice for working in tighter spaces like wiring on the boat.

I love Woot, but I'd pass on this. They sell closeout and older stuff, and lithium batteries have a shelf life. The batteries might be 7-8 yrs old, and you shouldn't expect more than 10 yrs from date of manufacture.
I bought a refurbished blower (Ryobi) from elsewhere, and after about a year, one of the batteries stopped taking a charge. I bump-charged it a couple times, but now that doesn't even work.

Everything I've bought from them is legit Dewalt. No problems. Circular Saw, Impact Driver Dcf 850 and batteries 2 power stack batteries
