FWIW, I was super excited about getting this during last Prime Day. I don't think I've used it beyond a week after getting it.

In concept it seems fun. In execution it's pretty dumb. It doesn't actually measure, freeze, or do any of the actual ice part of the ice cream concoction. In fact, you have to mix and freeze everything beforehand. So you'll need to know a day or two in advance of the flavors and mixins you'll want to have in your ice cream.

Making this just a glorified blender. You're better off just heading to the local store and grabbing a pint of B&J or Haagen Dazs.

And coming back to the deal in general, this was the same price I paid last year.

I have this model. Love it. I can just open a can of fruit and dump it in the container (adding sweetener, if I want), freeze it overnight, and then blend it. I use the sorbet setting twice in a row, and it comes out so creamy, you'd think there was dairy in it. I've also made ice cream, but it's a bit of effort, and I'm lazy. Or you can just get some off-the-shelf ice cream, and use the Creami to make great milkshakes. Great machine.
