Dogs are not and cannot be vegetarian. Anyone projecting this morality onto their pets do not deserve to be a caretaker for that animal.
These are limited ingredient treats. Like you'd choose for dogs who have protein allergies. "Vegetarian" just specifies there's no meat protein of any kind.
It's relevant, and important, information in context.
But if you want any pet who has evolved to have a protein only or protein inclusive diet, consider humane sources of their primary nutrition rather than compromise their health for your (human) principles.

Depends I think. Vet put my collie was on limited ingredient dog food due to allergies and it is veg. Started at 8 months and she's about to turn 16. So who knows. This might be good for those folks who have dogs with allergies or digestion issues.

I've had dogs that ate mostly rice and green beans. But they also had beef and chicken. Properly managed, a vegetarian diet MIGHT be possible, but it is neither natural nor inexpensive. Dogs are omnivores, opportunistic scavengers, and copraphagic. Also more than we deserve. We should therefore treat their nutrition with respect rather than 'clean label' concerns.
if your vet endorses it and your pet thrives, feel free to ignore an opinionated pet owner on the internet

Dogs can go vegan as long as it's properly formulated. /not recommended, but possible
Normal off the shelf Dog food specifically isn't actually very good for dogs for the same reason normal meat isn't very good for humans.
Most beef these days are fed with chicken feces (litter), google it. it's just not good for our doggos to be eating the highly contaminated meats that come out of factory farms. Pigs are fed with feed laced with plastic packaging/ garbage. All the worst parts left of the trimming then makes it into dog food. That's why dogs around humans get cancer at approximately the same rate those humans.
Vegetarian dogs and politically active kids are the same, just victims of crazy people inflicting their nonsense on the helpless.
The worst is when you see a puppy standing with his pack on the street corner, barely able to hold the sign he can't even read above his head that says "meat is murder!" Poor little guys. The parents ought to be ashamed.
What crazy comments. Some people's knees jerk whenever they see the word vegetarian or vegan. Your dog treats don't have to contain meat products; they aren't meant to be their main source of food.
From the label: Feed as a snack or treat as part of a healthy diet. β
Treats should not make up more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake. β This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
