"Q: Why is it so hard to include whether it is tlc qlc slc in the description, all do this! Why? Is it a secret? Very annoying to have to ask all the time
A: Thank you for contacting Crucial support.

"At Crucial, we use Micron manufactured NAND, and drives are tested to verify that they meet or exceed internal design requirements and published drive specifications. The Crucial P3 SSD design is based on QLC NAND and customers may expect QLC NAND. Based on material availability, we may also use other Micron NAND to fulfill demand, provided it does meet or exceed published performance and endurance specifications."

Q: does the p3 has DRAM? how about p3 plus?
A: Thank you for your inquiry.

We wish to inform you that Crucial P3 and P3 plus SSD does not have DRAM buffer.

please get a dram one if you are planning to use on PC, otherwise it is going to be sllllllow AF when you are doing lots of write. dramless drive only good for some "read only" situation like using it on PS5(reading games), or you dont care about the write speed, like using it with external enclosure just for moving data between computer. Knowing what you are buying is very important, buy nice or buy twice.

Yeah I was referring to the 1tb. The 2tb is often 79 but currently 89 at Amazon/MC. Not sure what the pull is for these crucial drives

Does dram really matter when youre installing it in a 4 year old desktop with a 7200 HD thats used for some docs but mostly wasting time on the internet like now?

Branding. I'm a big fan of 670p. It was priced at flagship pricing when released, but Intel didn't market it right. Nevertheless, it's by far best drive out there for the money. It matches my 980 pro in real world usage.

Read up on 670p design and Intel invested quite a bit rd into it.
