I've been looking for a sale on 14 ft multi-position ladders for a year. This is one of the lightest (23.5 lbs) as well. Thanks!

I am a fan of the Little Giant Ladders too, but given price, weight and lbs rating are better, certainly this one should be considered.

Is it safe to use this ladder to reach the roof? I need to climb on the roof to inspect if it is the time to replace them.

I would go with something bigger. When getting onto roofs you want to extend the ladder at least 4' past the roof line. It makes it a lot safer getting on and off. Depending on the height of your roof I'd go for the 18' or 23' ladder.
