I currently own this for two years and so far it's been good. I'm a homeowner and I use this for cleaning my driveway and pathway as well as cleaning algae off of bricks and roof. But the main reason I use it is for pressure washing my car.

2000 is best for light duty work and car washing. Anything more and you might as well get gas or a professional to do it. This might take a little longer but worth the $140 I spent. It does come with an Uber flex 25 ft hose worth $30 better than the ones that Ryobi electrics come with.

The one drawback is it is a little clunky so not the best if you don't tidy up the wires when moving it around but other than that warranty covers defects for machines not replaceable parts like the nozzle tips. I tried to call in and they said I have to buy a new pack. Overall a decent purchase and at $120 it's better than anything else you can buy at 2000 psi

One note on that Husqvarna I got from Costco, the box says "brushless induction motor" while this Greenworks says "universal motor"

From what I read, Induction is better. If anyone else has thoughts pls advise. For that reason alone I may just keep my Husq as this Greenworks could be a trade "down" not up
The husq

-uses m22 15mm to m22 14mm connection for the hose. Upgrade or replacement requires an adapter.

-hose quality is pretty bad. Kinks easier and less flexible. Uberflex hose also easier to coil up for storage.

-gun has trigger lock that must be pressed every time to use.

+more compact

Longevity wise pumps rarely go out. The gfci plug seems to be the weak links in electric pressure washers.

I was about to buy this, but there are many bad reviews on Costco's site. Anyone have any experience with this model?
Confirmation bias much?

Got this 2 years ago and it has been performing flawlessly. The key thing is that you need to run the water for at least 30 seconds after attaching and turning on the water source, before turning on the pressure washer. I liked the flex hose that came with this, but ultimately went with a 50 ft. hose from Amazon since you will appreciate the extra length for the convenience of not having to move the pressure washer. Don't expect this to get old paint off of some stones, but this will blast the weeds growing in between brick pavers. I want to say it's powerful enough for home use. Definitely not the go to for a pressure washing business. But at this price point, this is a no brainer.

I have this, it's great for the money. I do recommend getting a longer hose or extending the supplied one. Moving a machine with 3 cords is a pain without 50' of hose

Can anyone tell me which spec matters more for foam washing cars, the PSI or the GPM?

I don't understand why people pressure washer their car. You can just cut up an old towel get some car wash and do an immensely more thorough job hand washing it in half the time. Just curious the reasoning?
That method is marginally better than using sandpaper and acetone. You describe a painful and heinous death to your clear coat and will put a swirly, marred end the protection it offers. Please, please never do that to even a car you hate? 🫠

After owning a similar greenworks electric pressure washer for a while I have a theory that most of these break because people turn them off without priming them first so the pumps will run dry intermittently and burn out
This is why TSS (Total Stop System) is the must-have feature in power washers, from my opinion. It only runs the motor when you pull the trigger.

I've recently bought AR Blue (to be precise - BC383HSB model with 2070 PSI/1.7GPM) for $165 from Amazon and pretty happy with it's performance. Surely it has TSS.

How is this for cleaning the mold off the siding of the house? I do have some green shades I see higher up on the siding. Wondering if you have to be farther away from the surface, will 2000 psi still do the job of cleaning the mold.
Anyone use this for this purpose who can share their experience?

Bought this about 6 months ago, so far it seems pretty solid. As for tangle-free cord, that is debatable. I struggle to get the full length sometimes since its all tangled up.

The best thing I found for removing mold from siding is called EZ Armor House Wash. It connects to your garden hose and can stream pretty high. Highly recommended!

If planning to use this on driveways, I highly recommend getting the greenworks 11 inch surface cleaner. They run 20-25 on Amazon and you get a much faster job without covering yourself in moldy dorty driveway back splash.

It will definitely blast mold off of siding. If you have older aluminum or wood siding that was painted, be careful what nozzle you select and how close you get because you can damage paint and wood by getting it too close.

As for pressure washing cars... Touchless wash is pretty much a myth, but to keep your paint looking its best, you have 2 options:
Foam cannon, let it dwell, rinse with pressure washer, then do a light contact wash with an appropriate wash mitt in a bucket of suds and rinse again then dry.... OR

Spray on a rinseless wash, let it dwell, then contact wash with a rinseless wash sponge and a bucket of rinseless wash, then dry.

I only use the foam method when the car is really dirty or I just want to have fun. As I said above, touchless wash - even with ceramic coating - is really a myth. There is nothing out there that will do as good of a job touchless as you can do with a contact wash.

Buy this and keep both, when one breaks, return it and you will have 1, then look for the next $100 deal and return pump number 2 when it dies lol

Have had this for almost 2 years. Have no complaints. Never used the soap compartment because I use a foam cannon. Highly recommend for thorough coverage. Used for detailing vehicles and cleaning outside cushions.

Not as strong for house washing unless it's general webs. Good luck on concrete, debris removal is ok.

Great on solar panels.

The psi is important here. For what I'm using it for, it fits perfect. 2000 your not going to hurt anything. Especially with the tips it comes with. If your doing paint prep for exterior, concrete cleaning, I'd recommend higher psi.

Hope this helps

Full touchless wash. No micro scratches on your paint. Finish with di water and blower. Fast and effective, especially if ceramic coated.
how do you get di water and which blower do you use? Thanks.
