Six 2.5s for $21 at the same link. Arguably a better deal than 4x10.

How do you come up with this calculation that it's a better deal?
40lbs = $1/lb
yours
15lbs = $1.4/lb

How come weights gotta be so expensive? A dollar or so a pound seems pretty common, and I can't afford to be droppin' a G every time I wanna do some curls.

It'll only cost you $2 to cover your curls, bro!

I pay $60 and once got picked up by a normal looking girl there.

I've heard if you step up to $300, you can actually have sex in the gym.

I recently bought 10lb plates for $10 each off walmart.com. The cost of steel has come way down in the past year, and it seems like weights are finally starting to catch up, so I expect to see more and more "sales" at or around 1$/lb.

Same here, interestingly Walmart had the 4 pack for full price but not the singles. All my cap weights have arrived ok but the boxes were broken on nearly every side so you have to hope the carriers keep them together for you.

I use these with dumbbell bars and I'm pretty glad I didn't buy selectable ones because I bench press with dumbbells, for safety, and the prices for the heavy ones are insane. It cost me under $200 to get every 5lb increment up to 80lbs for 2 bars. I went with 12x 10lb, 4x5lb, 4x 2.5lb with 5 pound bars.
