They still have their uses. My son is autistic and can use this type of device vs setting times digitally. He has dyslexia and his brain translates 1;30 seconds into 1 hour and 30 min. Let's just say frozen burritos can be a real mess in a microwave . And if it has a clock that does not auto reset in the fall and spring my house is in turmoil for days. Not just because of changing them but he can't let it go and becomes a chatter box until the next thing happens.

That said I wouldn't trade him for the world. Life is an adventure.

And the 80's rocked IMHO (not meant to be antagonistic) if you lived it.

Actually many folks prefer analog trimers on things that get really hot and tend to fry the boards.

Like most air fryers.

I would caution buying food prep items from off brand Chinese companies. Their materials such as the non stick on the mesh grill may not be food grade

I noticed on these type of machines the analog tend to last longer if you use it consistently. We bought two digital ones and I don't know if it was the heat, but eventually the LCD panel was in operable. Ended up picking one of those $30 analog ones at best buy and been running 3 years strong. Those digital ones only lasted me 6 months for one and 1 year for the other.

I got the other model, the white one for 29.99, already received the item. Still haven't open the box though. Saving it for when move out to our new home.

My board doesn't get hot, but this is a good price for an intro to air frying. I think some seniors would feel more comfortable with the dials.

I wasn't charged tax. I also screwed up and authorized paypal, before I put in the coupon,, but didn't check out, and it put a hold for $80 on my credit card. They released it and I just blocked them and went back and checkout out on a different card
