My first GPS was a TomTom... That said as a long haul trucker I would only trust Garmin dezel..... And even Garmin isn't perfect when it comes to weight restrictions and routes/roads...

Great device, use it as my daily driver. the only complain i have with these, You would still need your phone for the last mile directions. This will take you to the area, like if you have a store in big open mall.
Or a hotel would be on the same road, but half a mile away.
I drive through areas which have no cell phone converge, this work better and does not use up my battery.

A large truck of some kind, don't know vintage. Smilie

Still, this GPS comes with lifetime map updates, so useful today.

I once bought an used Acura that had navigation, and realized after purchase that Acura had discontinued the navigation updates. My car's navigation was like looking back in time before local freeway sections existed.
