CPS Plan is worthless. Go see reviews for yourself, only positive reviews are for people who haven't filed a claim.

CPS will give you the runaround scheduling a technician. Even if you get a technician for any repairs that are remotely costly they'll just offer you a cash bribe settlement, and the settlement amount will be a fraction of replacement cost.

Take your chances, the price is great - and buydig refurbs have a solid track record - but don't expect anything from the warranty.

Wow,

CPS warranty disclaimer
"CPS is a leader and innovator in the field of service plans. The company offers extended warranty coverage for virtually all high ticket consumer purchases ranging from high-end consumer electronics to computers, major appliances, power tools, lawn & garden equipment, and more. All plans are backed by an A.M. Best rating of "A-" (Excellent) insurance carrier.

Whether its part of your home entertainment system, or simply for watching movies and shows, people enjoy watching TV. However, sometimes accidents can occur that can break, or drastically impact the performance of the TV. In order to protect your TV from these incidents, you should consider picking out and Extended TV Warranty. These warranties are designed in order to protect you from the common accidents and impacts that can occur. This includes dropping the TV while moving or mounting, and kids hitting or knocking the TV over. It even protects you from burn-in, something not typically covered by the OEM. Plus, if something happens to your remote control, you can ask for a hot swap replacement without question. We'll also assist you by including tech supports for your initial product setup and/or configuration. Starting 30 days after your purchase, the warranty runs for 4 years. This functions by running alongside the manufacturer's warranty during the first year, providing you with additional coverage. Once you have this warranty protecting your TV, you won't have to worry about being unable to fix or replace it due to an accident."

Wish I got something similar for my Samsung tv instead of their freaking Samsung care+. Now they won't cover my tv which is not working just 10 months after purchase. There was a crack that originated from inside the bezel. No physical damage to the screen from the exterior.

I got the A80J for $1399 a year plus ago, this is the newer model of that. No need for warranty yet. My TV was basically brand new according to the 7H or 7 hours in the service menu. Also important to note that OLED TVs have a bend to them because of the technology so I freaked out at first about the bend and then researched it the large the TV the more likely the bend. It's not a big deal and you can't tell front on but you know, it was my first over 55 inch OLED TV so it was alarming at first.

In other words this is a REALLY good deal and this TV is a little better than the A80J but with more features, year newer etc, and $300 less than I paid over a year ago for the older A80J.

If you game, the C2 has better gaming features. Sony has better out of box color accuracy and picture processing. I have a a80j and a b2. I like the picture better on the a80j but if I had to pick one I'd go LG for the gaming features.

This or a renewed LG B2 of Amazon for about same price? (tho I'd rather pay that price for new so I'm not in rush unless this is a killer deal). LGs seemingly being more burn in proof is the thing that draws me in, especially with kids.

PQ on this seems quite a bit better than the LG tho, peak brightness aside. But the Sony seems to handle reflections a lot better (looking at rtings and other places). This seems like a tough one!

Is there a guide that translates Sony TVs to the LG? Like LG is easy, go backwards from the alphabet most of the time. No clue how the SOny's measure up though Smilie

i've been considering the b2 referb because it's like the onlyl consistent 77 incher below 2k. I just am wondering if OLED is even worth it. Every tiem i get these upgrades like 1080p to 4k, it was cool for 2 weeks then I forgot about it hehe. Probably the last time I;ve been amazed at something graphically was watching Avatar at the movies or going from a SNES to PlayStationSmilie

I've had my OLED for three years now - still get a thrill when watching true 4k content.

Also pretty darn great for gaming, though I'm not a hardcore gamer.

If you mainly stream shows/sports then I think it better to save your money and get a good mid-range LED as the difference for that type of content isn't worth the difference in price. IMO obviously.

That's how I feel. I returned the U8h after 10 days for the c2. While the c2 is beautiful I'm not sure it's worth the $400. I don't game and I pretty much only stream.
