I just used the Ridgid inflator on a trailer that hadn't rolled in years. Not sure how long it took to go from 0 to 45psi, as I just set it and walked away, but it was pretty convenient compared to firing up the old compressor.

As expected, it got pretty hot, so I let it cool awhile between tires. Used about half of a 4ah battery.

People complain about the weird chuck, but after a short learning curve, I really like how quick and easy it is.
Wish they had free shipping

Can't really tell if good deals or not. I have one factory blemished and one reconditioned item in my cart>I think blemished still gets the LSA from Ridgid, but with shipping just not sure it's worth it over new.
It depends. DTO prices are notorious for fluctuating, so a "sale" doesn't necessarily mean a good price. Then add in the cost of shipping.

If you're talking about the inflator, keep in mind that in late January, DTO had a free shipping promo for a couple days, and at the time the blem was priced at $30. So $30 and change shipped to your door.

Today, the blem is $39 + shipping and tax, when it can be purchased at Home Depot for $59, which is their normal "sale" price. Not a hard decision between the two, when HD offers instant gratification and 90-day returns, for a minimal ~$5 cost difference.

When it first appeared on the market, $30 was the normal HD sale price, but it hasn't gone that low since. If there are stores selling it for $19, that's very much a YMMV thing.

DTO's "blemished" is new, and qualifies for the LSA for the types of tools that are eligible. Some types, like compressors are (or were; it changes) not eligible. "Reconditioned" does not qualify in any case.

The inflator is a solid buy for anyone in the Ridgid system already. Keep in mind it has a 5 min duty cycle, and the chuck can be fiddly with certain stems, but that's not necessarily a deal killer. The gauge on mine reads high.

If you can afford to wait for the next free shipping promo, stay on top of things and hope the price dips that low again, that's an option. But there's also the risk that it might not dip that low again. Gotta weigh those things for yourself, and for each item in particular, with their own price trends.

Had the inflator for a while now and I'm another positive vote for it. Wife like it too. No question on it - perfect addition to your Ridgid collection.

I've been watching the mobile miter saw stand for a while now. I've seen it 25% and 30% in the past... today's deal of 35% is the best I've seen so I ordered one this morning. Normally $200, it's $130 today (and $15 for shipping).

Already have the inflator-It's great. I was looking at the 18V SubCompact Brushless Cordless 3 in. Multi-Material Saw. It's $99 new, $89 Blemished + $15 shipping, and $50 Reconditioned + $15.00 shipping.

I bought this for $10 from Home Depot, new, and zero shipping. So I don't understand why this is a deal for $25 including shipping. Also, it is not bright. The 12 volt Milwaukee Flashlight I have is so much brighter and lights a wider area.

Just sayin'.

It does mention that after running 5 minutes continuously, let it cool down for 5 minutes. 5 on, 5 off, repeat.

I have this same inflator but only use it to top off tires especially as the weather cools and tire pressure gets low, or inflate bicycle tires and sports balls. Absolutely love it, and the chuck works great for hands free operation on most tire stems. Less leaks, hands free and I appreciate being able to walk away if it's too loud due to being in an enclosed space

I like this inflator more than the Milwaukee M12 one I have.

my point was that saving 2 bucks is hardly a deal.

Just my $0.02 about the Ridgid inflator that I bought from DTO in early 2022 when they had one of their infrequent free shipping offers. I admittedly bought it on a whim because of the free shipping offer, but the idea was to replace a corded 12V plug-in one that I keep in my car trunk. And I am glad I did because it is so much more convenient, especially with a tire with a moderate leak that needs air every 5-7 days. It's not like it's difficult to run the corded 12V model, but it is a hassle to run the cable to the correct wheel either through the door or open window, keep the car on, roll up the device cable later, etc. It's so much more convenient and faster to just pop it out and go to whichever wheel needs in quickly. And I'm really liking it now because I've had one of those moderately fast leaks on one of my wheels for the last month or so. This inflator makes it manageable to mitigate the situation and live with it till I can get the tire patched.

I use it on my fifth wheel to put 100psi in the tires. As you said, it's not fast but I can set it and walk away. Now that I've been using it weekly for over a year, it stops a couple psi early at high pressures (bikes are fine) so I just set it a little high.

I know a lot have vouched for the inflator which I've been wanting for the longest time (along with a multi tool and saw) but I'll vouch for the light as well, rather durable and stands nicely... Beam adjusts by turning to where you need light. I always use it under the car in the garage or for outdoor repair projects in the yard (landscape lights etc).

If you're looking for additional stuff to pad out an order and make that minimum shipping not suck so much, they've also got Ridgid LevelMax Anti-Lippage tile system components for $1.00 a bag. (That's 90% off, they're normally $10+).

I have the inflator and it works OK I guess. Its super loud, slow, and the pressure reading is off by 3-4 psig, but it does have a convenience factor. If you get it cheap enough, its worth it.

Home Depot has it for $19.97. That's almost $5 less than DTO with their $15 shipping.
