I've been using these for over 5 years and they hold up. The only thing is that they don't have outer pockets but other than that they'll probably outlast us.
I also have had this exact set since about 2019. No cracks in the plastic, but the netting on the inside has come lose on one of the bags. So, not the highest quality, but will do in a pinch, especially at this price.
It might be better just to spend a little more and get this three-piece set from Samsonite for $240 plus tax and free shipping.
Samsonite and American Tourister are part of the same company. fwiw, I have found the AT products to be cheaper and more cheaply made than their Samsonite comparables, but with the same warranty. That being said I also found my AT bags at prices 1/2 the Samsonite one.
From AT, the only bag I would get is from their Tribus, which is pretty much a slightly cheaper made version of the Samsonite S'Cure. Got a pair of Tribus for a steal back in 2019 at $150 shipped. The S'Cure is harder to get since for whatever reason it's not a model found in the US--best price on this was about $200 in India and we got another one for $229 CAN and another one for $240 USD.
After getting smart on luggage I haven't purchased it in a long time since what I have was good, it appears that this is not a great deal. Carry-on is technically too big for the sizer bin, and a large receives the 62-in perimeter limit. That extra large bag could be $100 or $200 additional fee for that check bag because it's oversized.
But if you use it on a cruise, no problem since they have no such limits.
I purchased a different set I linked above. Then realize the carry-on and the lodge were too big and I didn't want to take my chances at the airport knowing that I might have to spend 200 bucks extra. I returned the set.
My advice advice for plane travelers is skip this set and every other three-piece set except for travel pro that do make luggage that meets the airline size limits.
I personally just purchased two 25-in cases. Guaranteed to make the check-in guidelines and each bag is large enough for at least a week's travel for one person.
My other advice is for overhead baggage, forget the spinner wheels. You lose valuable real estate by having the bag an extra 1 and 1/2 in off the ground for clearance for the wheels. And you'll need that real estate if you want to purchase a bag that's guaranteed to fit in an overhead bin and not take your chances. My cheap soft case American tourister bag from Walmart purchased in 2007 is still going strong.

319 already on sale - 25%. Which puts it at 240 which is a reasonable asking price for a three-piece set Samsonite brand.
I don't think my link is a slick deal so I did not post it as such. But it's a good price and better than this as an alternative.
