70-25 = 45
45/2 = 22.5 + tax each.
this isn't a good deal.
Just get costco kirkland brand oil.
change it every 10k miles regardless anyway.
dont need to deal with rebates. its what 31 dollars + tax for costco
comes out to be 17 dollars per 5 gallon.
NAPA rebate deal is $4.52 cheaper than Walmart or Amazon per 5 qt. jug

This. I would usually be all over the M1 rebates but just stocked up on 8 jugs of the Costco stuff. Goodbye M1 and rebates, although I will say I never had an issue getting one.
Sold the car at 194k with the original clutch, transmission, engine, etc.

If you throw a generic statement out without a reference to testing samples at 5k and 10k miles, specifying mineral wear differences or findings, it seems random and uninformed. Having submitted samples of different oils at 5 and 10k myself, it showed differences between brands, negligible differences if any, in component wear. Your statement is based on what testing?
