Got the next tier down of this line and was fairly disappointed. The retractable mic feels very janky, and this looks to have the same design

I've had the Arctis 7 since 2019, longest lived headset that I still like, since I've been buying them. I wanted to do USB-C, but everything I've read and many of the reviews say this series has gone downhill since 7+. I keep hoping to hear from others there's a good one out there though.

Astro had the same issue of quality after Logitech acquire .....I want to get pro wireless, but the mic issue and quality on reddit review keep me away to get tht.

I have this and 7P+. If you want to use for your console, I strongly recommend 7P+ over this. Wireless is so much comfortable using for console games. when I compare this to 7P+ I don't think there is much difference with DAC control.

I tested these on my PC along with my 7p and new nova 4s. The gamedac lets you hear footsteps and everything so much better!! Could never go back and highly recommend for shooters. these also have 2x the frequency response of the 7p's and all astro headsets. these are the best if u dont wanna pay 350 for wireless imo.
