Bought this a couple of weeks back for $1799 from MicroCenter..

My experience and observations :

- Unit was refurbished by LGE directly, not locally by a 3rd party or Microcenter
- Unit was Packaged in OEM Packaging ( the same packaging that's for new units ) with ALL the styrofoam, remote, etc that you'd find in a new unit. Looking at the box, you'd think it's a new TV. The ONLY way you'd know this is a refurbished unit is by closely looking at a small sticker on the side.

- While MicroCenter states a 90 day warranty, LG upgraded it to a full 1 yr standard warranty ( same as with new units ) 24 hrs after registering with LG ( verified thru the ThinQ app. I strongly recommend using the app since the website is trash and will not show you the warranty info specific to your unit. All they show on the website is the generic warranty that applies to the model )

- The usage OOB depends on your luck.. Some received units with single digit usage, while others received triple digits hrs used. Mine had 86 hrs. Do note that there is a 100 hr break-in period for the OLEDs. My unit is now at 215 hrs and the PQ has definitely improved across the board ( brightness, colors, and blacks! )

- To check hrs used : Settings -> All Settings -> General - > Devices -> TV Management

- The return period ( as indicated under My Orders on MicroCenter ) is 45 days from date of purchase

Has it been worth it ? - Absolutely!! I have zero issues! Panel is evenly lit, no dead/stuck pixels, no screen bend, even grays, zero wifi issues etc..

Just my .02

The 65 goes on sale far more often than the 77s.

PSA: If the motherboard is replaced in a refurbished set, then hours reset regardless of actual hours on panel

I bought one a few weeks ago, had 100 hours on it so not excessive and so far has worked great. 77" is a great size that just pops. Since you only get 90 day warranty with this I bought it with a credit card that extended the warranty a year even for refurbished items. You can also get an extended warranty through upsie.com for like $4 or $5 a month and they offer burn in protection I believe as well.

One of these days the 65 will have deals right?.. Maybe? It says it's either 55 or below or the 77 and up. Which I guess makes sense bc 65 is probably the most in demand size atm but still.

Increasingly to even convince myself to drop over 1k on an OLED when very good new LEDs can be had for less.
The 65 goes on sale far more often than the 77s.

Just googled and pretty easy to check hours. Sucks you have to buy and set up to figure that out but I might give this a shot.

I have vizio P65 from 2019 that I have been considering upgrading from. Going to see if 77" would be to big but otherwise might bite on this. I guess if the TV has a lot of hours, I could always return it.

Perhaps. But getting one is another. Especially this MS deal.

I'd suggest reading upsie reviews online. It seems to be a scam company that tries hard to deny claims. You will see there is a theme to their responses and they blame the owner and dont provide coverage

FWIW, I bought a 77" C1 refurb from MC about a year ago. It had 0 hours on it when checked and in the (admittedly short) timeframe I've had it, it has been absolutely flawless. OLEDs are so worth it. This is an awesome deal.

I'm in Detroit and unfortunately every SD being posted for just about any B&M deal seems to be sold out in a matter of minutes. I swear there must be tons of people from here on SD lol.
