Bought this a couple of weeks back for $1799 from MicroCenter..

My experience and observations :

- Unit was refurbished by LGE directly, not locally by a 3rd party or Microcenter
- Unit was Packaged in OEM Packaging ( the same packaging that's for new units ) with ALL the styrofoam, remote, etc that you'd find in a new unit. Looking at the box, you'd think it's a new TV. The ONLY way you'd know this is a refurbished unit is by closely looking at a small sticker on the side.

- While MicroCenter states a 90 day warranty, LG upgraded it to a full 1 yr standard warranty ( same as with new units ) 24 hrs after registering with LG ( verified thru the ThinQ app. I strongly recommend using the app since the website is trash and will not show you the warranty info specific to your unit. All they show on the website is the generic warranty that applies to the model )

- The usage OOB depends on your luck.. Some received units with single digit usage, while others received triple digits hrs used. Mine had 86 hrs. Do note that there is a 100 hr break-in period for the OLEDs. My unit is now at 215 hrs and the PQ has definitely improved across the board ( brightness, colors, and blacks! )

- To check hrs used : Settings -> All Settings -> General - > Devices -> TV Management

- The return period ( as indicated under My Orders on MicroCenter ) is 45 days from date of purchase

Has it been worth it ? - Absolutely!! I have zero issues! Panel is evenly lit, no dead/stuck pixels, no screen bend, even grays, zero wifi issues etc..

The 65 goes on sale far more often than the 77s.

PSA: If the motherboard is replaced in a refurbished set, then hours reset regardless of actual hours on panel

Sure. But when you are paying a lot for a TV, you shouldn't have to use another device to make it work.

For ease of mind, I'll probably get it from Costco so I can return it easily if there are issues.

I've been reading LG OLED TVs like C2 have Wi-Fi drop issue. There's a long thread on Reddit.
Anyone who's had it for a while experience it?
I bought this a few weeks ago from MC and had terrible Wifi drop issues for the first few days but then they went away. No idea what happened

Q80's at Costco $300 off right now.
Q80 is not an OLED . It's a QLED

C3s just came out, they are getting rid of the C2 stock. Multiple sales on 65" and small. Amazon has had the same 77" C2 in stock for the last two weeks.

Good luck. You'll never see it under $2k.

Just got mine home and setup. It was missing batteries and the stand had finger prints on it. Fired it up and check the hours... It had 0.
So far, so good.

Yes. you have no idea why it was returned or how many hours are on the used tv you are purchasing. But one thing is for certain: It got returned for a reason!
Maybe they realized it was a bad financial decision ie buyers remorse
