My LG french door fridge with compact ice maker is 3 years old and has had no problems. Everything that I've read about samsung refrigerators says that they are ridiculously unreliable, and there have been class action lawsuits. YMMV

I do real estate and I went through many appliances. They are all pretty good but my repair man said LG seems more reliable. I guess the chances you will have a lemon is very small with those two brands.

I am not sure if this was mentioned before.. but add a Hisense 55" Class - A65H Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV.. total comes to $1420.. after $700 off

I tried what you suggest, and added this TV. Now it shows that there's $700 off, but the total is $2075.98, not $1420. Where is the other $655.98 discount coming from? What am I missing here? Can you explain? Thx

For some of you seeing a price 600 higher is because there are two versions of the same fridge one with beverage center and one without.

Run. Unless you like dead ice maker. I went through 2 Sammy include a family hub. Google for class action lawsuit Samsung ice maker.

For what it's worth, even the workers at Lowes say how problematic Samsung appliances are. I went with LG, not having any major issues after 3 years. I've read that GE makes some good refrigerators, but have no experience there.

It sounds funny, but it couldn't be anymore accurate. I deal with a broken icemaker every few years. My family members opted for LG's. Their refrigerators all had to have open heart surgery. Compressor, condenser, tubing all had to be cut out and replaced. But after many, many aggrevating service visits over a period of a year or two, both have been working fine. Or atleast well enough. They haven't broken down in the past 2 years. Knock on wood.
